The essays are copied here exactly as they were first published, 28 of them from 2023 to 2026. Each build checks every one against a stored SHA-256 before it writes a page, so nothing changes in the copying.

The range on the front page is drawn from the writing itself: one ridge for each year, one peak for each piece, one point for each sentence, and the longer the sentence, the higher the point. The light follows the hour where you are reading, and the weather is yours to choose.

The photographs, 76 of them, carry only the month and the time of day they were taken.

The type is Alegreya, by Juan Pablo del Peral for Huerta Tipográfica, under the SIL Open Font License, served from this site.

The pages are plain HTML, one stylesheet and three small scripts, built by a short Python program and served as static files. There are no trackers, no analytics, no third-party requests, and nothing is loaded from anywhere but this address.
