Where Curiosity Takes Us

I tend to believe that anything is possible. While it seems in some ways the world is deeply fragile, that we, human beings are vulnerable to much in the ways of mishaps, there is simultaneously a great endurance that exists. It is this endurance and strength of our being that fills me with wonder, the realm of possibility with the human imagination. I wish to go deeper into the space of our what we, humans are capable of, the mastery of craft across all arts and industries. This is the magic, where the quality and beauty exist.

What we choose to give our attention to, and, hopefully even more so if we are lucky enough, our love and commitment to, grows profoundly. Through the passion and dedication, a transformation occurs and what we might call greatness emerges. Greatness is beautiful and highly unique across all spaces, and measures up to whatever we think is important. Our priorities can and will differ, and it is this variety that allows for many expressions and wonders.

I repeatedly come back to what we show up to day after day, and the imperceptible subtlety of change over a long period of time. There is little in the way of glamor, moment by moment, day after day, but we still arrive, with the same enduring commitment to our love, faith, and dream, to make something wonderful, and something built to last.

There is an awe and wonder to the aspects of the human experiences and dimensions, our ability to dream up the impossibility, and adventure forth into the unknown. I don’t know that we are all meant to walk in this manner, but if we feel compelled at all, we must. And what of the consequences? This, I don’t have a clear answer, and I imagine any such definition will evolve over a lifetime with consideration to new variables and conditions.

The mountains and wilderness provide us with a space where all is stripped away but the fundamentals, of who we are, why we are, and even still, it, it being the depths of ourselves, remains a mystery. A part of me knows I just need to let go, to stop trying so hard to make sense of it. We catch a glimpse of the summit, when the clouds break for but a moment, and feel the pull to talk towards and into the void. We find a strange sort of comfort in what is unknown, a creative and wild challenge before us, pulling it apart and going within, deeper and deeper.
